The perfect way to close 35 years: Forrest (Woody) Mosten
Few names carry the weight in this field that Forrest “Woody” Mosten’s does.
His influence on mediation, and on family conflict resolution in particular, has shaped how a generation of practitioners approach this work.
This November, he will close SCMA’s 35th Annual Fall Conference with a session titled “Mediator as Educator.”
SCMA, the Statewide California Mediation Association, has long recognized the significance of his contributions. The Forrest “Woody” Mosten Star Award for Innovation and Excellence in Family Conflict Resolution, presented annually, bears his name and honors practitioners who advance the field with the same innovation and rigor he has demonstrated throughout his career.
This year, that legacy takes the stage directly, as Woody closes the day of this year’s Annual Conference.
Paired with Ken Cloke‘s opening keynote and a full program of respected speakers, teachers, and SCMA leaders, this conference marks 35 years of the organization’s growth with a program built to match its significance.
Registration for the conference is open now.
Join us Saturday, November 7, at Pepperdine University for a day of professional development shaped by the people who have defined this field.
